We have an immediate opening for a Low Voltage Technician who is a forward-thinker, innovator who wants to learn and continually grow. Our ideal candidate will have experience working on low-voltage systems – access control, video surveillance, intercoms, and alarm systems.
What we can offer you:
$22-$32 per hour based on Experience (Full-Time)
Day Shift – Monday - Friday
Work Location: Jacksonville, FL

What will you be doing?
· Install, manage, and improve security systems such as access control, video surveillance/Security Cameras/Security systems, as well as audio and video intercom systems.
· Test installed equipment and provide basic programming/setup and customer training.
· Assist in performing preventive maintenance and repair as per a client maintenance agreement and/or warranty.
· Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair systems and/or equipment.
· Respond professionally to phone, email, voice mail, and verbal and written work orders. Issue and track work orders and work closely with vendors to ensure timely resolution of service issues.
· Update/document the status of all work performed.
· Operate safely; adhere to OSHA Safety Standards.
· Perform additional Security Technician and related functions as assigned
What do we need from you?
· Minimum of 5 years of Low Voltage experience
· Experience installing cabling (including conduit installation)
· High School Diploma or equivalent required. Trade school or internship completion preferred.
· A valid driver’s license is required with a clean driving record.
· Ability to maintain insurability.
· Computer/laptop/smartphone proficiency
· Attention to detail and thorough organization/time management skills.
· Ability to work independently and resolve issues.
· Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively with clients, vendors, and coworkers.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple ongoing projects and anticipate needs.
· Ability to read and easily comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, memos, blueprints, and/or floorplans.
· Professional attitude and demeanor that is presented through prompt follow-through, attendance, organizational value adherence, and confidentiality.
Physical Demands of the Job
· This is a physical role that requires frequent sitting, standing, climbing, lifting (regularly 50 pounds and at times up to 100 pounds), as well as operating various machinery.
